The Parks and Recreation Division along with the generous sponsors of Coastal Credit Union, My Greene Team, Pamela Hughes, Bandits Baseball Club, Dupuis Oil, and The Washington Trust Company are proud to welcome "BY GEORGE BAND!"
BY GEORGE is New England's one and only George Harrison cover band! Performances from all eras of his career: his solo music from the 70s-90s, his work with the supergroup "Traveling Wilburys," songs that he wrote for other artists such as Eric Clapton, Jools Holland, Ringo Starr, and others.
This free 1 ½ hour performance takes place at the Veteran's Memorial Amphitheater located on the corner of Exchange St. and Roosevelt Ave., adjacent to City Hall. Parking is available at the City Hall parking lot.
The Parks & Recreation Division will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items during these performances to assist the BLACKSTONE VALLEY FOOD CENTER, who work and help to combat hunger in the Blackstone Valley area.
PERFORMANCES MAY BE CANCELED DURING PERIODS OF OR POTENTIAL INCLEMENT WEATHER WITH A POTENTIAL FOR A RESCHEDULED DATE.
