The Parks and Recreation Division along with the generous sponsors of Coastal Credit Union, My Greene Team, Pamela Hughes, Bandits Baseball Club, Dupuis Oil, and The Washington Trust Company are proud to welcome "THE BILLY SHEARS BAND!"THE BILLY SHEARS BAND is a classic rock band. The band has performed for over ten years, specializing in Beatles Tribute & British Invasion music. They cover: The Beatles, Van Morrison, The Stones, The WHO, Bad Company, Badfinger, Billy Idol, just to name a few. THE BILLY SHEARS BAND is a musical time machine! This free 1 ½ hour performance takes place on the stage located in front of Daggett Farm and Len’s Hot Dog And Seafood Haven in Slater Memorial Park.
The Parks & Recreation Division will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items during these performances to assist the BLACKSTONE VALLEY FOOD CENTER, who work and help to combat hunger in the Blackstone Valley area.
