This Sunday, the Jonny Chavez Quartet returns to GULBAR for an afternoon of jazz standards, smooth grooves, and modern favourites reimagined in a fresh jazz style 🎺
Led by Jonny Chavez on trumpet and vocals, the quartet brings together four talented Calgary musicians:

Beau McCartney — Bass
Peter Strietman — Guitar
Alejandro Torres Cala — Keys
Expect expressive trumpet, warm vocals, rich guitar and keys, and a lively rhythm section — the perfect soundtrack for cocktails, dinner, and a relaxed Sunday afternoon. The group has performed at GULBAR several times, and we’re always happy to welcome them back.
