**Happening the fourth Sunday in April because of Easter.** Check out Sunday Funnies, an open-mic for stand-up comedy or comedic storytelling. If you've always been told "You should do stand-up!" but haven't had the courage to try, this is the place for you. Bring that story you tell at every holiday party. Yes, that one. We want to hear it.
Join a writing circle at 11AM to brainstorm ideas, chat about what makes an idea funny, or try out a few jokes in front of a small group.
At noon, we’ll kick off an open mic for all levels of talent, with time to provide feedback! This event is not exclusive, the goal is to create an environment encouraging to new voices who may be intimidated by more traditional open mic settings. Priority is given to women, transwomen, non-binary and femme-presenting performers. This is a laidback setting, shaped by the people who show up.
Food is available starting at 11am from Decibel Korean Fried Chicken, plus the amazing drink selection from Esoteric!
