We warmly invite you to join us for a Sunday Dharma Gathering. Each Gathering includes a brief meditation instruction and practice, a presentation on a dharma topic, and open discussion followed by refreshments and socializing.

Registration is suggested but not required — just come by. All are welcome!

September's topic is "A Horse with Fourteen Hearts" with Laura Simms

Our meditation practice prepares us to work in the world, as well as with our own lives, to uncover innate kindness, restore ceaseless basic goodness, and awaken fresh perception. This gathering will provide an exploration of storytelling as compassionate action.

Combining basic Dharma art teachings and embodied meditation practice, Laura will guide us in the potency of using story as a teaching tool and a means of transmitting the experience of natural presence. Teaching stories have always been a means of transmission.

This is an opportunity to enhance your practice and gain fundamental tools for communication in everyday situations.

Advance registration helps us to plan and set up, but if you don’t have a chance to register, you are still welcome to attend!
