ABOUT:
If you're looking for a stage where you can meet other fun improvisers and get in reps of scene work, then come out to jam every first Sunday of the month at The Glendale Room! Hosted by long form improv duo Power Sauce (Stephen Gillikin & Wendy Natividad), this improv jam will start off with everyone meeting each other, playing a few theater games, and warming up with some quick scenes. Then, we’ll open up into long form improv sets.
Open to improvisers of all experience levels with the goal of creating a warm and supportive space for everyone to play in. Participation is optional, and you’re also welcome to just attend as an audience member.
Light refreshments, including adult beverages, are available for purchase from The Glendale Room. Free coffee and free donuts are provided courtesy of Community Improv. Donations of $5-$10 to Community Improv are much appreciated and help keep this monthly jam going.
Community Improv offers accessible and affordable improv workshops, classes, and jams through in-person and virtual community-focused events for adults locally and across the world. Follow @communityimprovla on Instagram to learn about upcoming events.
