🌞🏝️ BELLE ISLE DAY TRIP + SUNSET HANGOUT🏝️🌞A group of us are planning a summer day trip to Belle Isle! The plan is to spend the day outside enjoying the island and it's many amenities. There are opportunities for biking, kayaking, sports, music, beach time, exploring, good food, good drinks, and ending the night with an amazing sunset at Sunset Point.
We’re thinking about biking around the island together (the full loop only takes about 35 minutes), maybe doing a little kayaking through the canals, bringing food and drinks for a picnic on the lawns, playing volleyball and spikeball throughout the day, and maybe even getting some ultimate frisbee or flag football going if people are down, relaxing on the beach, exploring the island, and watching the sunset from Sunset Point with everyone at the end of the night.
And depending on how everyone’s feeling afterward, we may head downtown later that night for drinks too.
Belle Isle seriously has SO much to do:
