Traveling through Toledo on their national sound tour, The Sound Medicine Collective joins us for a one-of-a-kind Sound Journey featuring a stunning collection of healing instruments including a wall of gongs, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, hand pan, didgeridoo, drums, chimes, alchemy bowls, mantra, and more.
As the sounds and vibrations wash over you, you’ll simply rest comfortably while allowing your body and mind the opportunity to soften. Many participants describe feeling deeply relaxed, mentally clear, emotionally lighter, or as though they experienced a meditation unlike any they’ve had before. While every experience is unique, sound has long been used across cultures to support relaxation and contemplative practice, and emerging research continues to explore its effects on the nervous system and stress reduction.
Michigan-based musicians and wellness practitioners Adrienne White and Luke Andresen, owners of The Collective, are both Master Reiki practitioners who thoughtfully weave Reiki into their sessions. Their trauma-informed approach creates a welcoming environment for anyone curious about exploring the restorative potential of sound. Luke, a veteran, also brings his personal experience using these practices in his own healing journey.
Whether you’re brand new to sound healing or already have a practice, this is an opportunity to unplug from the noise of everyday life and immerse yourself in an unforgettable evening of resonance, stillness, and restoration.
Please bring: a yoga mat and anything else that will help you remain warm and comfortable while lying down for the duration of the journey.
