A Solstice Gathering — Yoga & Live Harp with Olivia McIntyre and Ruth CorryThursday 18th June 2026 | Maple room, Maitri Studio | 7:30–9pm | £25
As the light reaches its fullest expression, come together to mark the summer solstice with intentional movement, stillness and sound.
A Solstice Gathering is an intimate evening of yoga accompanied throughout by the live music of harpist Ruth. Every breath, every transition and every moment of rest will be woven together with Ruth's music, creating a seamless and unhurried journey from movement into stillness as we mark this significant turning point in the year.
Olivia will guide a sun-inspired hatha vinyasa practice, beginning slowly and building warmth through sun salutations to honour the light of the season. From there we will be guided back to the floor, settling into a long savasana before closing with time for journalling and reflection, all while being cocooned in the flowing melody of Ruth's harp.
This symbolic gathering is an opportunity to pause, reflect, set intentions and release what is no longer serving us at this halfway point in the year.
This evening is open to everyone, whether you're new to yoga or have been practising for years.
What to bring: A journal and pen, and perhaps a small offering for our solstice altar (e.g. flowers, artwork, a shell or anything else which represents the summer solstice for you).
Places are limited due to the intimate nature of the event.
