About this Event
The summer solstice is the longest day of the year, and in ancient traditions across cultures, it was treated as a sacred threshold: a moment to celebrate what has grown, and release what no longer belongs to the season ahead.
We begin with a cacao ceremony. Raw ceremonial-grade cacao is a heart-opening plant medicine (non-psychedelic) used for centuries in Mesoamerican ritual. Rich in magnesium, theobromine, and anandamide, also known as the brain's bliss molecule... cacao gently elevates mood, sharpens focus, and opens the body to deeper states of awareness. No crash. No jolt. Just clarity.
From there, we move into Restorative Yoga, a practice backed by research showing how it can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, lower cortisol, and release tension held in the connective tissue. Supported entirely by props, each pose asks only one thing of you: let go.
Then the sound begins.
A gong. Himalayan singing bowls. Frame drums. A harmonium. Chimes. Each instrument produces vibrations that travel through the body at a cellular level, recalibrating brainwave states, reducing anxiety, and stimulating the vagus nerve.
Wear cozy layers and come with an open heart! Spaces are limited to preserve the intimacy of the experience. We encourage early registration since space is limited.
