Summer Solstice in the Woods

Solstice literally means ‘light standing still’. This special nurturing forest bathing immersion on 2oth June, celebrates the Celtic festival of midsummer and the longest day of the year. Slieve Gullion forest is a perfect haven to deepen your spiritual connection with nature. We will create a special nature mandela to guide us during a healing white light meditation. Our Solstice forest experience will include a tea ceremony of wild elderflower cordial, shortbread from a local bakery and Irish Strawberries. Forest Bathing is an evidence-based wellness practice which originated in Japan in the 1980’s as a stress prevention intervention. Some of the benefits include: boosting mood, immunity, sleep and creativity aswell as stress reduction.
