Summer Solstice Celebration: 108 + Yoga Nidra

Join us at the heart. yoga studio as we honor the Summer Solstice with 108 Sun Salutations led by Lesley Carney, practiced in four intentional segments with grounding yin pauses in between. This moving meditation is designed to help you clear stagnant energy, ignite inner vitality, and celebrate the height of the sun’s light.

The number 108 symbolizes wholeness, transformation, and renewal, and each round becomes an opportunity to breathe deeper, move with intention, and reconnect with your strength and clarity. Together, we’ll harness the powerful energy of the solstice — a time of abundance, expansion, and illumination.

We’ll close with a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra (guided reclined meditation) to integrate the practice, calm the nervous system, and invite balance after the heat and movement of the flow.

Move at your own pace. Modify, pause, and feel supported to make it yours — this ritual is about presence, not perfection.

What to wear:
We suggest comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. Most students wear leggings, shorts, or yoga pants with a tank top or fitted tee. Class is practiced barefoot. The studio may feel warm from movement, but feel free to bring a light layer for Yoga Nidra.

What to bring:
A yoga mat and a water bottle. We have free sweat towels for you, and mats available for rent. We’ll provide all necessary props for your practice (blocks, straps, bolsters, etc.).
