Give Your Child Skills They’ll Use for Life

Welcome to The Giving Nest Summer Skills Camp 2026 — a hands-on summer program designed to help children learn how to respond safely, calmly, and confidently when it matters most.

We offer two camp tracks for different age groups.

Little Responders Readiness Camp

Ages 5–10

Morning Session | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

Tuition: $75

Children build real-life skills in:

• Staying calm in emergencies
• Fire and severe weather readiness
• Basic first aid awareness
• Building a child-sized emergency go-bag
• Teamwork and preparedness activities

Includes Junior Completion Certificate.

Youth Certification Camp

Ages 11–17

Afternoon Session | 1:00 PM–4:00 PM

Children ages 11–17 earn certifications upon successful completion:

• Babysitting Certification (10-year certification)
• CPR / First Aid Certification (2-year certification)

Early Bird Tuition: $125 After May 15: $135

Each week welcomes a new group of students.

Sessions may be taken independently.

Enrollment

Limited to 12 students per session.

Minimum 5 students required for each session to be hosted.

Registration closes May 25 or when classes fill.

Led by Tricia Ponicki- with over 28 years of teaching and hands on experiance

Certified Instructor Emergency Preparedness Educator Certified in HSI, American Red Cross, and CERT (Community Emergency Response Team)
