Summer Series 2026 (Firecracker 5K, Ignite the Night, HEROhustle, fireworks)

Springfield Township's 21st Annual Freedom Celebration is growing! Even with all the new activities, admission and parking remain FREE!!

The Firecracker 5K starts the day at 9am (register at RunSignUp.com); food trucks, vendors and the new "Sparks & Spirits" adult beverage area moves in by 2pm and Arctic Clam kicks-off the new Ignite the Night concert series...the band takes the outdoor stage from 2:30-5:30. Families can enjoy inflatables starting at 5 before the HEROhustle begins at 6 (10 area celebrities wearing dino suits race for charity). Not Fast Enuff takes the stage at 7:30 and plays until one of the region's first and best fireworks displays puts and exclamation point on the night!!
