Join Springfield Township as we kick-off this year's incredible Freedom Celebration lineup at 9:00 am with the annual Firecracker 5K Run/Walk. The event, part of a daylong celebration of our nation, takes place within Community Homecoming Park and uses the Park's beautiful terrain to create a fun, challenging course. Awards will be presented by genders and age groupings! Registration will all be done online and the portal opens soon. Special thanks to our presenting and all sponsors for their generous support - proceeds from all Summer Series 2026 events will benefit organizations serving veterans, area youth, and Springfield Local Schools student organizations!
