We can't think of a better way to celebrate summer's arrival than with the announcement of our new rooftop reading series! Join us at the Graduate Richmond's rooftop bar, Byrd House, last Sundays in June, July, and August for fabulous views, featured readings, and fun summer cocktail pairings.
Kicking off the series June 30 are none other than RCP's own Dorinda Wegener (cocktail pairing: Just Peachy), getting a little pre-launch energy going for the forthcoming release of her debut collection FOUR FIELDS, and founder Joanna Lee (cocktail pairing: Electric Feel), who will be giving her FIRST full reading since becoming the 2024 Richmond Poet Laureate. Trust us, you don't want to miss the fireworks from these two.
Details: enter through the hotel lobby and take the first (right-hand) elevator straight up to the 16th floor. No age restriction (Byrd House also has a fun selection of mocktail options for those not wishing to imbibe). Bring your shades and get ready to do some serious RVA sunset scoping!
