Come and discover wild abundant forest gardens.
The forest garden was designed and created with permaculture principles around 15 years ago. Where wildlife and human life work exist together.
Marc Stenham has nurtured and tended to Forest Garden turning an acre paddock into an inspirational bountiful wild landscape.
The plants in the garden are an unusual mix of edibles, medicinals, nitrogen fixers and wildlife promoters. Marc’s current favourite is the cardoon, it has so many uses.

Entry to the forest garden is free.
Please note this year we are part of Rodmell Open Gardens. With the upper gardens open on the Saturday and lower gardens on Sunday.
For one day it’s £6 and both days £9.
The forest garden is in the upper part of the village and open on the Saturday.
This will give you access to other gardens too.
If you are just coming to see the forest garden at Rodmell entry is free.
Getting to Rodmell Food Forest
Found in the upper part of Rodmell village, Sussex. The garden is near the top of Mill Lane. Follow the signs. Entrance is at the gate marked Rodmell Food Forest. Nearest train station is Southease.

Parking
If visiting please park at the bottom of Mill Lane and walk up the lane to the garden entrance. Parking by the garden available for anyone that will find the uphill walk a challenge.
