Southover Open Gardens is back and blooming for 2026! Join us for an afternoon of inspiration and discovery as you explore a beautiful trail of 14 private gardens in Lewes. From charming traditional English gardens to smaller contemporary & unique spaces, there’s something for every garden lover. Plant stall - located at Southover War Memorial.

🌟 Hosted by, this event helps raise funds for some of the legendary fireworks that light up Lewes each November.

• £6 per person (under 16s go free)
• Advance tickets available on Eventbrite
• Entry is by ticket only — includes a map of the gardens

🛒 How to Get Your Ticket & Map

1. Buy Online (Recommended)
Purchase your ticket via Eventbrite. You’ll receive a garden map by email before 12:00 noon on the day. If you don’t receive your map or can’t print it, just bring your Eventbrite confirmation to one of our pop-up ticket points on the day to collect a physical copy (available from 13:30).

2. Buy Locally (from mid May)

• The Swan Inn – 30a Southover High Street, BN7 1HU
• The King’s Head – 9 Southover High Street, BN7 1HS
• St Pancras Stores – Barber Court, St Pancras Road, BN7 1JQ (Open daily & Sundays 07:30–13:30)

3. Buy on the Day (from 13:30) cash or card
Tickets and maps will be available at the following SBS pop-up sales points:

• 📍 24 Southover High Street (opposite The Swan Inn)
• 📍 Bottom of Keere Street
• 📍 Holbrook, Rotten Row (near the High Street/bottleneck)
• 📍 Southover War Memorial (opposite St James Street)
