Do you dream of a time when there were still knights in shining armor? Does your child love to watch sword fighting? Are you looking for a little medieval action in your own backyard?
Join us for this COMPLETELY FREE event at the Fretz Park branch of the Dallas Public Library! The Dallas Mythics, a team of women who carry on the medieval tradition of tournament fighting in full plate armor into the modern day, will be hosting a fully armored demonstration.!
Watch as squires talk you through the process as they armor up a knight! (It takes longer than you might think!)
Ready for action?! Watch the sparks fly as these damsels-turned-knights duel with real steel weapons!
Snap a photo or get knighted by the #1 women's armored combat team in the US!
In addition to the demonstration, the Dallas Public Library will have free knight-themed crafts for kids available all day.
