Looking for a fun, creative activity to fill the summer holidays? Exeter Library is running four free drop-in craft sessions throughout July and August, all themed around transport and travel. Suitable for children aged 3 and up, each session runs twice on the day: 11:00am–12:00pm and again at 2:00pm–3:00pm.
Wednesday 22 July – Loo Roll Rockets
Zoom, zoom, zoom, we're going to the moon! Transform an ordinary loo roll into a fantastic rocket in this easy, hands-on session.
Wednesday 12 August – Paper Planes
Design and fold your own paper plane using one of our templates, or go freestyle from scratch. We'll end the session with a flying competition, and there's a certificate and prize for the plane that travels furthest.
Wednesday 19 August – Dishy Ships
Create your own paper plate boat to take home in this fun and accessible craft session. Well shiver me timbers!
Wednesday 26 August – Bird's the Word
Create, design or colour your very own feathered friend in this colourful, easy craft activity.
All sessions are free. No booking needed, just turn up and get making.
