Led by medical herbalist Kristine de Block, The Crafty Herbalist, alongside Jules Cossins of Where Inspiration Blooms, this full-day workshop is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world through plants, scent, and seasonal remedies.
Part of our Four Seasons of Herbal Living series, our summer gathering focuses on the season of full blooms. Throughout the day, you’ll explore how flowers and herbs can be used in practical, beautiful ways to support everyday wellbeing and bring a little more seasonal awareness into daily life.
Together, we’ll work with botanicals to create a collection of herbal preparations inspired by summer itself — from delicate floral waters and cooling sprays to infused oils, nourishing creams, herbal honeys, and natural perfumes. Alongside the practical making, there will also be space to explore the more subtle, emotional qualities of plants through flower essences and scent.
Kristine brings a depth of knowledge that is both grounded and accessible, sharing traditional herbal wisdom in a way that feels warm, practical, and deeply connected to the seasons. With Jules alongside her, the day carries the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that so often emerges when people gather to make, learn, and share together.
