Summer Drawing Series for Beginners/Intermediates
About this Event
Cost:$125 for a 5 class series.
Learn the foundations of accurate drawing through the sight-size method, a time-honored approach used by master artists for centuries. In this 5 class series you'll develop essential skills in observation, proportion, and redering using pencil and charcoal.
Working directly from life as well as from a reference, you'll learn how to measure, compare, and translate what you see with precision - training your eye to truly understand shape, value and form. Whether you're a beginner looking to build a strong foundation or a more experienced artist interested in refining your technique, this methodical and mindful approach will strengthen your overall drawing skills and visual accuracy.
Please bring a sketchbook (8x10, 9x12, 11x14), 12" ruler, kneaded eraser, white vinyl eraser, and a pencil case, or zip lock bag for supplies.
Instructor will supply all other materials necessary for workshop use.
