Gouache Explorations with Kristen Baker

Gouache is a type of water-based paint that combines the properties of watercolor and acrylic. It has a high pigment concentration, making it more opaque than watercolor, but it can still be reactivated with water like watecolors. It dries to a matte finish which reduces glare and makes it ideal for scanning or photographing.

In this class we will learn the basics of gouache through experimentation and exploration.
