🍷📚 August Book & Bottle Club at Faire La NoubaOur summer reading takes a slightly rebellious turn.
For August, we’re diving into Rebel School of Wine by Tyler Balliet — a fresh, modern guide to understanding wine without the snobbery. Think curiosity over rules and confidence over complexity.
Because there’s so much good stuff inside this book, we’re splitting it into two gatherings.
August Meeting — Part 1
We’ll cover:
• Introduction
• About Wine
• Wine Grapes
Then in September, we’ll wrap up the series with:
• Wine Regions
• Practical Tips
Expect plenty of wine, plenty of questions, and a relaxed, fun approach to learning what’s in your glass.
Pre-order your copy in the shop or through the Faire La Nouba website by May 15. (You don't have to buy the book from FLN to join the club, but support local bookshops if you can. My favorite is The Painted Porch on Main in Bastrop.)
