Suicide in the Media Advice Session

All sectors are welcome to join us in person for the Suicide in Media advice session which will be delivered virtually by the National Samaritans media advisory service. The Samaritans are the leading authority on responsible reporting and portrayal of suicide.

The Suicide in the Media Advice Session includes:

• The Samaritans work with local authoritiies and journalists
• International research
• Suicide and contagion
• Positive story telling and examples
• Challenges faced by local authorities and the media
