Join us on a mystic journey into the heart of the Sufi tradition.

The Sufi practice of zikr is a form of chanting and movement meditation. This ancient practice connects mind, body, and heart, using sacred sound, breathwork, and embodied movement to guide us from the state of individual awareness into group unity, opening the door to universal oneness.

Through zikr, we gather in prayer and remembrance of the Divine, tuning the heart toward the unity of all things through sacred sound, rhythmic movement, and the repetition of sacred phrases in Arabic. This is a collective practice in which our individual hearts come together, beating as one heart, entering into cosmic unity.

Zikr is the Sufi mystical path of experiencing divine unity through sacred sound and movement.

The evening will include the Zikr of Forgiveness (Astaghfirullah) as transmitted by Shaykh Jelaleddin Efendi Dede, and will close with the poetry of Rumi, followed by mystical conversation and shared reflection.
