Local footy needs umpires.
Right now, leagues across the region are short on umpires — and ex-players are some of the best people for the job.
If you’ve played footy before, you already understand the game, the pressure, the rules and the environment. Umpiring is a great way to stay involved in footy, stay active, give back to the game and earn extra money while doing it.
Join the Southern Umpires Association for a FREE Player to Umpires Pathway Night.
Hear about the umpiring pathway, ask questions, meet current umpires and see what the role is really about.
Special guests:
Current AFL umpire Paul Rebeschini
Current AFLW umpire Olivia Grcic
Whether you’re an ex-player, supporter, parent, current footballer or just interested in local footy — everyone is welcome.
While attendance is open to all, we strongly encourage people to register their interest beforehand via the SUA website.
