It's the 100th World Thinking Day! Join us in our annual event exploring the countries of the world. Troops may sign up to present one or multiple countries. For each presentation, please prepare an informational display board and have a relevant food sample and SWAPS available for each traveler that visits. Troops are invited to further share their country by performing a brief cultural dance, skit, or story during our opening events. Let Jessie know if your troop is interested in performing!
Set up will be from 9:30-10, event 10-12:30, and tear down from 12:30-1. After a welcoming ceremony, all troops will gather at their table and divide into 2 groups: travelers and presenters. Travelers will rotate between countries and experience each display. Presenters will remain at their table to host travelers and present country information. Plan to keep presentation of country information and activities to around 7 minutes. Travelers will rotate when the train whistle sounds. Please stay in your groups and rotate together. Once the first set of travelers has completed the circuit, they will take over presentation duties and the first set of presenters will become travelers.
