Sturgeon Full Moon Yoga/ Breathwork/ Soundbath Ceremony
About this Event
Full Moon Yoga/ Breathwork/ Soundbath Ceremony
August 26, 2026
The Full Moon is a time of reflection, release, and renewal—an invitation to let go of what no longer serves and step into greater clarity and illumination.
Join us under the illuminating energy of the Full Sturgeon Moon for an evening of intentional movement, deep release, and soulful restoration.
Named for the time of year when lake sturgeon were traditionally most abundant in the Great Lakes, the Sturgeon Moon is connected to late summer abundance, resilience, patience, and the wisdom gained by moving steadily through life’s deeper waters. It invites us to honor what we have been cultivating, acknowledge what is ready to come into fruition, and release anything that is no longer aligned with the path ahead.
We’ll begin with a grounding, heart-opening yoga practice to reconnect you to your body and create space for what wants to emerge. From there, you’ll be guided through a transformative breathwork journey designed to clear stagnant energy, access emotional release, and return you to your inner strength. We’ll close in a healing sound bath, allowing the vibrations of crystal bowls and soothing instruments to support integration, rest, and renewal.
This is an evening to soften beneath the moonlight, listen beneath the surface, and remember your capacity to endure, evolve, and receive.
Come as you are. Bring a yoga mat, water, a blanket, and anything that helps you feel comfortable and supported.

She completed her 200-hour Vinyasa and Hatha yoga teacher training at Kootenay Yoga School in Mexico in 2023, followed by a 50-hour Yin training in Bali in 2024. Leah is also a sound healing practitioner and has led international retreats, including in Costa Rica. Her teaching invites students into greater self-acceptance, awareness, and embodied presence.
