The Pocket Revolution is NOW! Join Cass for 2 four-hour workshops on a Tuesday and Thursday evening to create yourself a gorgeous, functional Studio Tunic that’s a phenomenal layering piece! A project done in a week?! You'll feel so accomplished ;)
This pattern from Sew Liberated is a pinafore-style tunic that makes the perfect artist smock, gardening apron, adorable puppy-carrier and MORE!
A roomier fit makes this garment a great piece for confident beginners looking to expand their sewing skills. This pinafore style tunic offers both a v-neck or rounded neck option; each choice gives a unique look!

If you’re not feeling confident in your measuring and cutting skills, we’re here to help! Book a complimentary fitting and cutting appointment prior to the start of class by contacting the shop.

🧵WHAT TO BRING / REQUIRED TOOLS
1. Pick up your printed pattern at the shop ahead of time and have it, and your fabric cut for first class
2. Your sewing machine (in good working order) with power cord, pedal and manual (just in case)
3. Pre-washed and cut fabric as per the pattern
4. Interfacing
5. Thread to match your fabric
6. Fabric scissors or rotary cutter
7. Thread snips
8. Pins or clips
9. Seam ripper
10. Fabric marker or chalk
11. Ruler or seam gauge
*NOTE: If you do not have a sewing machine, but know how to sew and would like to join, you can rent one of Wild Bobbin's machines for $15/class. Available as add on below.
🧵FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS
- A mid-weight woven if you’re looking for something a bit thicker to add some structure.
- A Light canvas, mid-weight linen or a cotton twill would look gorgeous as well with a softer drape.

🧵ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Cassandra is a self-taught sewist and maker inspired by the MeMade movement and passionate about fabric, upcycling, and slow craft. She began crafting actively in 2020 and has since developed skills in hand embroidery, sewing, and knitting. Most evenings, you’ll find her stitching after her two young boys are asleep; hence her Instagram handle@the_night_stitch. By day, she teaches middle school and, in her spare time, enjoys working out, experimenting with new recipes, and reading.
