About this Event
Day 1 - May 28, 2026 | 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Smart Skills. Human Heart. One Powerful Day.
The administrative role is changing faster than ever. Technology continues to accelerate, expectations keep rising, and the professionals who thrive are the ones who combine digital confidence with strong judgment, empathy, and strategic thinking.
That’s the focus of the APP Professional Development Conference on May 28, a full day built around the theme “Smart Skills, Human Heart – Thriving in the Digital Age”.
This highly interactive conference is designed for administrative professionals seeking practical tools, fresh ideas, and meaningful conversations they can take back to the workplace.
The day begins with Anik Stark, the 2023 Canadian Administrative Professional of the year award recipient, who will lead a hands-on workshop on OneNote, sharing smart, efficient ways to stay organized and in control in a fast-paced environment.
Attendees will then work with Rhonda Scharf, an internationally recognized speaker, trainer, and leading voice for administrative professionals. Known for her practical approach, engaging delivery, and deep understanding of the role, Rhonda brings real-world experience and immediately usable strategies to every session. Her workshop “Level Up with AI” cuts through the hype to show how administrative professionals can use AI tools to save time, reduce overwhelm, and increase their impact.
The agenda also includes a panel interview with administrative professionals, offering honest insights and ideas worth stealing, followed by a lively Fireside Chat where participants share hot tips, challenges, and solutions with peers.
In the afternoon, Rhonda returns with “Strategic Thinking for Administrative Professionals”, a session focused on building influence, thinking beyond tasks, and strengthening one’s role as a strategic partner.
The day wraps up with a fun, high-energy Amazing Race–style experience that encourages collaboration, connection, and laughter.
If you’re ready to sharpen your skills, expand your thinking, and reconnect with the human side of your work, register now and secure your spot.
