Join Autumn Moon Holistic Wellness for a (certified) guided sound bath meditation inside the studio at Tandem Unified Wellness in Brockville! This (1 hour) event will be for holding space for inner reflection & full body relaxation guided by meditation, sound & vibration. We will begin with a breath & body meditation while tuning into the sounds of nature to allow the nervous system to settle and the mind to find peace. Followed by a guided sound bath meditation to fully immerse in the sounds & vibrations from various sound healing instruments (crystal & Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, drums, gongs etc) to encourage harmony, balance & peace within the mind, body & soul
Sound healing is an ancient wellness practice for healing, relaxation and self-care. It works by activating the parasympathetic nervous system and slowing down the brainwaves for a relaxed dream like state (the opposite of the stress flight or fight response). Research has shown that sound healing can provide therapeutic relief from stress & anxiety, physical pain, poor sleep, high blood pressure & more!
***ITEMS REQUIRED TO BRING WITH YOU***
1. Either a (yoga mat, full body cushion such as a single size foldable camping/exercise pad or an outdoor patio lounger cushion).
2. A comfy warm blanket/s
3. Head pillow
4. Any supportive blocks or cushions you would like
5. Eye covering of your choice
6. Water
***It is best to dress in layers in case you get warm or cool.This is a sound bath meditation where you will be laying on the floor for 1 hour. Please be sure you will be as comfortable as possible, but also being mindful to not interfere with other participants space & belongings***
