ABOUT KEITH DOLES
Keith Doles is an Abstract Expressionist painter and Florida native who graduated from the University of North Florida with a BFA in Graphic Design in 2001. In 2005, he earned a Master of Arts in Business from Webster University where he learned how to finance painting commissions and graphic design projects. His style combines influences from Cubism and Abstract Expressionism. He was an instructor at UNF and currently works as a resident artist at Jacksonville's CoRK Arts District.
"My fascination with architecture began very early in life, and lately construction sites symbolize rebuilding myself from the ground up. Infrastructure is the underlying framework essential to make a society functional. The work in this series illustrates my personal infrastructure - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual."
Doles’ work has been featured in exhibitions at the Ritz Theatre & LaVilla Museum, Haskell Gallery at Jacksonville International Airport, MOCA Jacksonville's Lab Gallery, the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, and the Morean Arts Center in St. Petersburg, FL.
