STRŌB Turns Six: A Community Bake-Off for the Elfattah Family

This October marks six years of STRŌB, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than the way we started a year ago: gathering, baking, and giving together.

Join us Friday, October 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for our second community bake-off fundraiser for the Elfattah family. Bring your best bake, or just bring your appetite. Everyone is welcome. Truly anyone who wants to celebrate with us and stand with this family has a place at the table.

Here's how it works:

Bakers choose one of three categories:

• Breads
• Cookies & Bars
• Cake

Every entry comes with an ingredients card, so tasters can see at a glance what's inside (gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, and the like) and whether it's safe for them to enjoy along side the delicious dessert teas we will have flowing all evening.

Our community does the tasting and the voting. A winner and a runner-up in each category take home bragging rights plus prizes, including STRŌB gift cards to spend on your next visit.

Admission is by donation: a suggested $5 minimum, no maximum. Give what you're able. Every dollar goes directly to the Elfattah family in Gaza for food, water, medicine, and a safer place to pitch their family's tent.

We've walked alongside this family since our last birthday. This night is another step together. Grab your ticket, pick your category, and we'll see you in the shop.
