An afternoon of Ayurveda with Ateeka Contee: pulse diagnosis, dosha mapping, and habits to live in tune with your nature.
About this Event

Ever wonder why your friend thrives on cold plunges and 5 a.m. workouts, and you just want a nap and a warm blanket? That's Ayurveda.

At STROB, we spend our days surrounded by herbs, tea, and plants that have been used for healing far longer than any of us have been alive. This one goes even deeper into the tradition behind them.

If you’re Ayurveda-aware, you may have taken an online quiz that told you your dosha in thirty seconds. This isn't that.

If you are new to Ayurveda, welcome. Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system from India built on the idea that everyone has a unique mix of energies, called doshas, and once you know yours, a lot about your energy, stress, digestion, and sleep starts making sense.

We're welcoming Ateeka Contee, a licensed clinical trauma therapist and a Certified Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor with over two decades of experience, for an afternoon that reads your constitution- not just what type you are, but how it shows up: in your stress, your body, your patterns. Ateeka has spent her career blending the Western clinical training she practices with the Eastern healing traditions she grew up with in India, so what you leave with is holistic.

This experience includes:

  • Education on Ayurveda and Doshas
  • Nadi Pariksha: a guided, hands-on pulse diagnosis with Ateeka
  • Support in mapping your own unique constitution
  • Guidance on creating lifestyle habits to support an integrated way of living with nature
  • $10 credit toward anything in the shop

We're open as usual during the workshop, so stop by before or after to browse the shelves.
