Join us for an extraordinary evening as we celebrate the approaching 30-year anniversary of one of the most ambitious and meaningful works of Andrei Protsouk’s career — his monumental 18-foot masterpiece Stroudsburg Forever.
Created over the course of three years and composed of more than 300 portraits, this remarkable painting is far more than a work of art; it is a living tapestry of a town, a time, and the people who helped shape both a community and an artist’s journey. Within its vibrant landscape are familiar faces, local personalities, friends, inspirations, and individuals who touched Andrei’s life and creative spirit. They lived in a creative time and are now immortalized in the artwork. Inspired in part by masters such as Rembrandt and Gustave Courbet, Andrei sought to celebrate everyday people and elevate the beauty found in the lives surrounding us.
