Stronger Together: Shaping the Future of Suicide Prevention
About this Event
Stronger Together: Shaping the Future of Suicide Prevention
The suicide prevention landscape is changing. National priorities are evolving, health and care systems are being reshaped, and opportunities and risks are emerging nationally and locally. There are important questions to consider about what comes next and who will help shape it.
We are now more than halfway through the current national suicide prevention strategy. How can we increase momentum and increase the impact of our suicide prevention efforts? What should priorities be for the years ahead?
The NSPA has also entered a new chapter. We have a new host, are focused on diversifying our engagement and increasing the impact of our policy and advocacy work. We want to develop our strategy and priorities with the suicide prevention community.
We invite people with lived experience, practitioners, researchers, policymakers, community organisations and system leaders to join as we talk about the future of suicide prevention and our collective vision for the future. We will celebrate the passion and commitment of the many people and organisations driving suicide prevention, have honest conversations about the challenges ahead and identify the opportunities to influence, innovate and collaborate.
