About this Event

Volunteer with Big Reuse and 31st Ave Open Street to care for our city's street trees! We will gather at 150-03 Jamaica Ave, Jamaica, NY 11432. Location may shift by a block or two—registered attendees will be notified!

Participants will learn about the benefits of enhancing the green canopy across our urban environment as we remove litter, W**d, aearate soil, and add compost to as many tree beds as we can get to. All supplies will be provided.

Plan ahead: Wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty in. Bring water to stay hydrated.

Volunteers 16 years old and under: Must submit a Minor Waiver + Photo Release signed by a parent/guardian in order to participate. Bring a printed copy or email the completed forms to [email protected] or [email protected] along with any questions.

Thank you, District 27 Council Member Nantasha Williams for supporting Street Tree Care in New York City!
