Come join us at Rusty Wheelbarrow Farm for fun-filled volunteering and getting your hands dirty! Located Woodside Avenue, near the 7, E, M, and R station 73rd/Roosevelt ave, our community farm offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature while contributing to the community though solidarity, where the crops we produce are harvested and distributed to our neigbors in need thanks to Sunnyside and Woodside Mutual aid.

You'll have the chance to work on composting, cultivating the land, planting seeds, tending to the crops, harvesting. Whether you're an experienced gardener or a complete newbie, everyone is welcome!

This winter we'll focus on building important infrastructure for the farm rebuilding our 3 bin system and more.

Join us for a day of fresh air, sunshine (or rain, its fun too! but the best is always a snow day!) , and good company.

Make sure to come with clothes that can get dirty!
