Explore Possibilities Beyond Earth in Distant Worlds: Alien Life and Seasonal Stargazing Join us at the Blake Planetarium for an evening that blends big questions, scientific curiosity, and a look at the stars above us tonight.
Our feature presentation, Distant Worlds: Alien Life, dives into one of humanity’s oldest and most fascinating questions: Are we alone? While Earth is the only known home to life, the universe is vast, filled with billions of stars, countless planets, and environments we’re only beginning to understand. This show explores the conditions that make life possible, the surprising worlds scientists have discovered, and the possibilities that may exist on planets far beyond our own. It’s a thought-provoking tour through space that invites audiences to wonder, imagine, and look deeper.
We’ll also include Seasonal Stargazing, a short and lively guide to the current night sky. Jump between constellations, learn memorable star names, and get a fresh look at “what’s up tonight” in this fulldome sky tour.
TICKETS ARE SOLD ONLINE ONLY. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
Please note that we are a ticketless venue. When you buy your ticket online, you are immediately added to our attendee list, no need to print anything or present an e-ticket. Just check in on show night with your name and a smile.
All ages welcome.
Parking is free.
Food and drink are not allowed in the planetarium.
No refunds at any time.
If you have questions about the event, please email Alison Riordan at [email protected] (Science Curriculum Coordinator, Plymouth Public Schools).
