Strand: Measuring Wellbeing in a Radical Street #LFA2026

Tranquil City is teaming up with placemakers LDA Design to invite you to experience the Strand through a new lens—how it feels. This guided walking study explores how the street’s radical redesign shapes wellbeing, belonging, and connection to nature in central London.

Participants will take part in a live research process throughout the LFA in June, contributing insights that help measure the emotional and sensory impact of the transformation. Discover how design influences not just movement, but how we relate to place, nature, and each other, and how it can deliver real social value.
