Cleveland’s Annual Stout & Oyster CelebrationJoin us for the 8th Annual Stout It Out Loud at Butcher and the Brewer—Cleveland’s signature festival celebrating bold stouts, fresh oysters, and the breweries that define our region’s craft beer scene. This year’s event brings together 30+ standout breweries pouring their best stout releases, from classic roasty styles to inventive seasonal variants and taproom-only creations. Guests receive a tasting glass and tasting tickets to explore a wide range of offerings at their own pace.
To complement the beer, our culinary team presents a chef-driven oyster menu designed specifically for stout pairings. Guests can enjoy East Coast and West Coast oysters prepared shucked, fried, or grilled, alongside a thoughtfully curated house sauce bar featuring:
Butcher’s Mignonette – seasoned and unseasoned rice vinegar, jalapeño, shallot, cilantro
Brewer’s Mignonette- cold Albino Stout, rice vinegar, shallot, lemon zest, white pepper
Cucumber Ponzu- Soy, mirin, citrus, cucumber, bonito, ginger
Bloody Mary Cocktail Sauce – house Bloody Mary mix, horseradish, Watershed vodka
Burnt Chili Oil – chipotle, ancho, garlic, lime
Fresh Herb Yogurt – cilantro, parsley, mint, jalapeño, sambal, lemon, garlic
In addition to raw oysters, guests can order from a limited selection of à la carte oyster dishes, including:
Wood Fired Oysters – Brewer’s Style – Albino Stout garlic and herb brown butter, parmesan, romano, pork belly crumble, touch of chili oil
Blue Point Oyster Fritters – cornmeal fritters with chopped oysters and pork belly, served with Bloody Mary cocktail sauce and smoked pepper aioli
Crispy Oyster Sliders – Old Bay–spiced fried oysters, Fresh Herb Yogurt, dill pickles, shaved lettuce, pork belly crumble on a soft slider roll
Oyster & Pork Belly Flatbread – garlic cream, charred oysters, caramelized onions, drizzle of burnt chili oil, parsley
Food offerings are available for purchase separately and quantities will be limited; pre-ordering oysters and food is strongly encouraged.
