Novelist Janet Rich Edwards comes to Cleveland to talk about the rich world of beguines--medieval women who pioneered and led independent communities--that inspired her debut novel, , perfect for fans of Lauren Groff's and Nicola Griffith's .
Rich Edwards will be in conversation with historian and CSU professor Dr. Elizabeth Lehfeldt to talk about the bold new worlds medieval women imagined and created, and how they shaped our own.
Janet Rich Edwards will sign copies of Canticle. Reserve your copy from Loganberry here. We'll also be offering free tastings of beer from Het Anker, a brewery founded by beguines in Belgium more than 500 years ago!
