July Book of the Month: The Vanishing Place | Author: Zoe Rankin
Celebrate the power of reflection, remembrance, and the art of storytelling as we gather under the stars of the Māori New Year. We are thrilled to announce our Matariki Book Club pick: The Vanishing Place by Zoe Rankin, honoring an New Zealand author.
Step into the poignant, deeply atmospheric world of Zoe’s novel. As we dive into its themes of memory, hidden truths, and what is lost and found, we are also turning our focus to the values of Matariki—honoring where we come from and connecting with those beside us. Our theme for this period is Matariki: Reflection, Remembrance, and New Beginnings.
Alongside our book chat, we’ll spend time stitching a custom embroidery patch onto our dedicated Storytime Stitching hoodie—a creative keepsake that grows with every book we read!
