Nsuo - water in Asante Twi
Water is memory. Water is life. Across West African and Indigenous traditions, water has long been a vessel for prayer, ritual and connection to those who came before us. Like water, we move - fluid, powerful, beyond fixed form.
A sharing circle for those who live outside the gender binary, or simply don’t find themselves reflected within it.
Through guided prompts, affirmations and open sharing, we’ll explore what it means to be the ancestors we are becoming - holding space for the joys, the weight and the wisdom of living authentically outside of systems not built for us.
You’ll also learn a West African water ritual to carry home - a daily practice for connecting with your ancestors, returning to yourself and tending to your nervous system. Each attendee receives a complimentary art print.
A healing space by and for Queer folk. Come as you are.
