Storytelling for Social Change Workshop

Storytelling has connected humans for centuries, influencing actions, behaviours, and causes. Today, it’s everywhere—from social media to political campaigns and films. But how can we harness the power of storytelling for positive change and collective action?

In this creativity-sparking workshop, participants will learn hands-on storytelling skills and how to apply them for good. Through rapid-fire exercises, group work, and interactive games, you'll not only learn the key elements of a great story but feel them in action. This workshop is all about being interactive and fun and takes place in the heart of Berlin's social impact scene - Impact Hub Berlin.

Disclaimer: you do not have to have any "storytelling experience" as it is a completely open format for beginners and those looking to expand their skills.

is a passionate storyteller with a global perspective, having lived in eight countries and currently based in Berlin. Her storytelling journey began early, from creating “newscast” videos to hosting a radio show and working as a freelance journalist. After launching a career in award-winning films and TV, Izzy shifted focus to create positive impact, earning an M.Sc. in Sustainable Business & Innovation. As Head of Community at Impact Hub Berlin, she combines storytelling, business acumen, and community-building to support social impact projects and start-ups. Izzy also works as a freelance storytelling consultant, leading workshops for corporates like Lufthansa, conferences like Fixing the Future, and sustainability-focused startups.
