Storytelling

Each participant will choose ONE THEME from the selection provided, upon which they'll have 7 minutes to share a story related to that specific topic.

Participants will receive a 60-second warning so they'll know when to start wrapping it up. This will assure everyone gets the equal amount of time and opportunity to speak.

**ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHARE A STORY**

Optional THEMES for this month:

1) Mental Preparation- a time when you needed to prepare yourself mentally; how did you go about preparing yourself. Consider things like self-talk, physical training, emotional regulation, etc. What was the outcome of the experience? Would it have gone differently hadn't there been a level of preparation? Why is mental preparation important?

2) A Choice Gone Bad- a time when you made a conscious decision to follow through with something that ended badly. Were you anticipating things to go how they'd gone? Were you surprised? Was anything learned from the experience? What were some choices leading up to that choice? What were the choices like that followed?

3) For the First Time but Not The Last Time- Share a story about something you'd done for the first time which led to a repeat of that same act or habit or way of thinking/being. How had the act of doing it once change you from that moment forward? Is there any emotion tied to the 'first time' or the entirety of it altogether?

Feel free to expand on these themes- allow them to mean whatever they mean to you. We'll keep the thoughts, imaginations and experiences flexible.
