About this Event

A fun, interactive workshop where children and families explore nature, kindness and caring for the planet through storytelling and a hands-on creative activity. Designed for families, this workshop can be adapted for children ages 3–9. Adult participation encouraged.

Marea is an author, designer, entrepreneur, yoga instructor, and stretch therapist with over 20 years of personal practice and teaching experience. She completed her 200-hour RYT certification with Davannayoga and has continued to deepen her expertise through advanced yoga training, workshops, and assisted stretching education.

Marea brings an accessible, compassionate approach to movement, welcoming students of all ages, experience levels, and abilities. Her mindful, supportive, and adaptable sessions help students build strength, improve flexibility, increase body awareness, and cultivate a deeper connection with themselves. She founded Eterna — designed to support people with thoughtful, sustainable movement for life. She is author of 'Healing Our World: Flourishing Years Ahead,' a children's book about teaching kids how sharing and kindness can help heal the planet-just like sharing toys at school.

  • The Sarasota Garden Club address is 1131 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota 34236
  • FREE Parking is available in the parking lots in front of the Van Wezel and in front of the Municipal Auditorium, Art Center and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas and along the south side of Blvd of the Arts.
  • Park access: The park remains open during construction. Most walkways, the Ibis Playground and the living resilient shoreline continue to be available for your enjoyment.
  • All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
