Join musician and author Dave Warner with his friend and collaborator guitarist Tony Durant for an exciting evening of stories and songs at Hurstville Library.
Hear the stories that have inspired his books and songs and explore how his literary and musical works inspire each other. Experience readings from his most recent crime novels When it Rains and Double Exxxpresso, mixed with musical performances from Dave and Tony.
After the event there will be time for questions and to purchase books and albums for signing by Dave and Tony. Payment can be made via cash or card.
About the Artists:
Dave Warner is the author of 15 crime novels and a winner of the Ned Kelly Award for Best Crime Fiction and the WA Premier’s Literature Award. His creative career spans decades and includes music, film, television, and writing. He started his creative career with bands Pus and The Suburbs, and has expanded to writing stage musicals, TV screenplays (McLeod’s Daughters, Packed to the Rafters & more), feature movies and over twenty-five books.
Tony Durant is acknowledged as one of the originators of psychedelic folk through his band Fuchsia.
