Nigel Is No More is Aidan Wong, Alex Tucker and Daniel Raymond. Utilising electric guitar, tenor saxophone and drums, they seem to spontaneously create an amorphous barrage of riffage, drum grooves and vocal like tenor screams.The words “noise metal” could be used to describe their music. This is appropriate at the times where guitar riffs and drum grooves propel the music whilst the saxophone’s intense use of the high register adds to the harshness and obscurity. Yet their aim is to find a level of sonic detail within the ensemble that encompasses something larger than those two words. And through a long form performance the band attempts to do that.
This will be a free performance.
